Boston Shinkendo Controversies! - Yukishiro Obatas Shame?

 

When you are the SOKE of an international martial arts federation, as in the case of Yukishiro Obata, the things that go on at dojos in your organization are inevitably your responsibility.

Take for example all the controversy that occurred at the infamous Boston Shinkendo dojo in Boston.

The sensei, often referred to as "Little Shafty" was despised by many who studied at his dojo, and it got so bad they all rose up against him and split his school.

Social media reports said he belittled students who didn't agree with him, even on topics that had nothing to do with martial arts. He would stick his nose into their personal lives, demand they spend their time doing things for his dojo, like online promotions and blogs, combining that with very inconsistent teaching, boring classes, little skill, and pushing his goofy kids to be leaders when they were barely old enough to wipe their own behinds.

No need to go into all the stores about little shafty, there are tons of them on the Internet.

Suffice to say many students reached out to the ISF leadership through a guy named Mike M. (another one of Yuki's lackeys), he promised to hear the students complaints and escalate to Yukishiro, but in the end they simply ignored the entire issue and the students all just quit the ISF permanantly.

I mean lets get real, who wants to train in all that silliness?

That said, Yukishiro Obata should be criticized by ALL the ISF sensei's (at least those with some balls), who should review the Boston Shinkendo events and take whatever action is deemed necessary. (that is the view of many familiar with this story).

Many feel that Yukishiro Obata should be ashamed, and its a sure bet Kaiso certainly would not have "wimped out".

The ISF has degraded into nonsense!

Boston Shinkendo Controversies - desperation showing! Tales of a screwball dojo!

 

Family Friendly is another way of saying McDojo!

Well it looks like little shafty is in desperation mode again!

First it was spamming YELP with silly reviews, now he is having his 2 or 3 remaining student post similar nonsense about his "Family Friendly" dojo!

LMAO who signs up to learn what is supposed to be billed as a traditional Samurai art in a "Family Friendly" dojo?

LETS BE HONEST

Family Friendly is code for WIMPY dojo full of morons!

But hey, this is just our view, if a family friendly dojo is what your after, you should sign on the dotted line over at Shafty's Boston Shinkendo Hellhole!

Boston Shinkendo holds Goofy Tameshigiri Session !

 

Well it looks like all the ridicule and laughter about Boston Shinkendo on social media has gotten to little shafty butcraccus.

It is reported that he is holding his first Tameshigiri session in almost two years.

Apparently after the embarrassment of watching his kid fail to cut a tatami mat in front of the entire class, and being laughed at by real martial artists and real dojos all over the Internet was more than shafty could take.

That article was highly amusing, but must have annoyed shafty to no end. So we hear he is rounding up his over the hill students, and one or two non geriatric students that may still actually attend that dojo, to cut a few mats.

The real question is did asshead actually go into his own pocket and buy the mats himself or is he planning to use the ones that former students WHO DITCHED HIS LAME DOJO purchased with their own money and donated for student use?

We don't know the answer to that, we are confident that the Tameshigiri session will be an exercise in standard shinkendo stupidity and indicative of how pathetic that style and that school is.

We wonder if "BRINGIT" will cut a mat? We would love to see that footage posted on the crappy Boston Shinkendo Facebook page!

But feel free to develop your own opinion, this is just ours.

Stupid Boston Shinkendo Sensei pushes false narrative about students who dumped him and his crap dojo!

 

As the truth keeps coming out about the much despised Shinkendo instructor Little Shafty aka the "weasel",  its beginning to sink into to folks about the unprecedented level of depravity many believe he has gone.

Recently one current student shared his experience at a BOSTON SHINKENDO ANNOYED STUDENTS meetup session, and he described how shafty portrayed students who he forced out or quit on him.

There were false comments and spin about events around the infamous Honbu dojo visit, Shafty pushed poorly researched background info on former students as he tried to push a narrative about that student to suit his BS defense to the ISF who are clearly wondering "what the heck is going on in Boston".

All the students, at least 10 of them have agreed to go on the record publicly about their experiences at the Boston Shinkendo dojo in order to prevent future students form undergoing the same manipulative and insane treatment they say they were subjected to.

Also they all agree, that his kids may  be nice people they are not very skilled at shinkendo and should be be teaching classes.

We can't confirm if this is true or not about his kids, but the comments seem to be consistent.

Hey Obata Soke, is this the values that the ISF promotes?

Boston Shinkendo more Sordid Shafty Stories of Hipocracy and Megalomania

 

When it come to sordid tales of weird martial arts experiences, the stories we are told from current and former Boston Shinkendo students make the top of the list.

Many of you may have read the article on the well respected Martial Arts Blog
www.WayOfBushido.com about Boston Shinkendo entitled Horror At Honbu Dojo.

Or you are familiar with the many comments and reviews on the Boston Martial Arts Blog and Social Media site.

Well if you read Horror at Honbu Dojo you will recall the event where the students from BosShin flew out to LA to attend a seminar at the Shinkendo Honbu dojo.

Little Shafty aka the "weasel" never told the students that the Honbu dojo had moved and not updated their address on the Shinkendo website at that time.

So the students, who had never been their before naturally googled the address and ended up going to the wrong place.

They contacted Yuki Obata and got the updated address and hauled ass across LA traffic in rush hour and made it to the dojo about 10 min past the agreed upon time that they would show up.

Shafty went ballistic, he got on the phone abusing the students verbally and for months after kept bringing up how they arrived late to meet with Yuki, never once accepting any responsibility for not providing them the proper information.

Even a year later Shafty was bringing this up, but one thing he NEVER bring up, is about 4 months after that Honbu trip, Yuki was going to the Montreal dojo to do a seminar, and of course Shafty being the butt licker he is, tried to be part of that event, and try to take the mantle of "respected east coast dojo" a title pretty much reserved for Sensei Lou of Modern Samurai.

So one student who wasn't able to attend Honbu decided to go to Montreal, he arrived a day early and began training with the class their.

Shafty was schedule to arrive the first day of seminar, and drove up with his kid...

So you wanna laugh?

Shafty shows up an hour and a half late, after the seminar already started!

The Honbu students made it to California from Boston and were only 10 min late, and Shafty couldn't even get to Montreal on time.

Reports from the Student who attended were that Yuki rolled his eyes and shook his heads, the general concensus from the students is that Yuki deep down inside probably thinks Shafty is a moron.... well, can you blame him?

After training at the bar, having drinks Shafty was putting on the butt licking schmooze trying to make Yuki like him, and the students there, from Montreal and even Shafty's kid were all rolling their eyes.

We heard that some students commented they wished Shafty never even attended.

Hmmmmm, that seems to be a common theme with people connected to Boston Shinkendo.

"Things are always better when Shafty is not around"

We hope that the leadership of the ISF can recognize this.

Wimpy Shinkendo Soke Whines on Facebook about Tameshigiri spurred on by Boston Shinkendo Goofball Sensei

Well its clear why Little Shafty is such a weasel, he operates under a wimpy Soke.

The head of the International Shinkendo Federation posted rules banning students from training tameshigiri at their homes, without instructor oversight.

LMAO some martial arts style, this is clearly a sword school for Fat Old Wimps and whiners.

No serious student of Japanese sword would take this kind of thing seriously.

So the apple doesn't fall far from the tree when you talk about Boston Shinkendo sucking...

Although apparently Little Shafty went beserk when he wasn't invited to the party! LMAO !
