Boston Shinkendo - Does Obata look like a fool?

 

In a recent discussion with former Boston Shinkendo students, the topic of Kaiso Obatas legacy and how stupid behavior at the local Boston dojo may or may not have an impact on the ISF and what Obata built.

The view of the former students was this:

"The poor old guy (obata) worked his ass off to build an art, and bring it world wide, and his lazy son is letting it fall apart. 
He took no action on the what went down in Boston, and allowed that jerkoff sensei to embarrass the federation and each and every single Shinkendo sensei around the world."

"How do any of those other Senseis not feel embarrassed to be part of the ISF? That poor group in Budapest, or the UK, or Amsterdam, they have to be mortified that the organization looks so stupid.

Let alone that schmuck Lou"

So this is just a small sampling of the view points from these former members that appear to feel that the actions of Boston Shinkendo have only hurt the ISF,

As we all know they are entitled to their opinions, but from what we have seen, it appears to make a lot of sense.

Boston Shinkendo lol- Fruity Leoni weighs in on Little Shaftee

 

A current Boston Shinkendo student, who chooses to go by the pseudo name of fruity Leone, gave us his viewpoint of the current state of affairs at the Boston Shinkendo dojo:

“This school sucks, little Shaffee sucks, bring it dude sucks, Shaffee’s student instructors suck, all the fat old students there suck, Yukishiro  Obata  sucks, the ISF sucks!

This is a goofball school, designed for a fat old slobs and morons who think they’re learning a samurai art when they really learning some two-bit shit bag version of make believe!

If Santa thinks Boston Shinkendo sucks, then it really sucks!

Boston Shinkendo Controversies! - Yukishiro Obatas Shame?

 

When you are the SOKE of an international martial arts federation, as in the case of Yukishiro Obata, the things that go on at dojos in your organization are inevitably your responsibility.

Take for example all the controversy that occurred at the infamous Boston Shinkendo dojo in Boston.

The sensei, often referred to as "Little Shafty" was despised by many who studied at his dojo, and it got so bad they all rose up against him and split his school.

Social media reports said he belittled students who didn't agree with him, even on topics that had nothing to do with martial arts. He would stick his nose into their personal lives, demand they spend their time doing things for his dojo, like online promotions and blogs, combining that with very inconsistent teaching, boring classes, little skill, and pushing his goofy kids to be leaders when they were barely old enough to wipe their own behinds.

No need to go into all the stores about little shafty, there are tons of them on the Internet.

Suffice to say many students reached out to the ISF leadership through a guy named Mike M. (another one of Yuki's lackeys), he promised to hear the students complaints and escalate to Yukishiro, but in the end they simply ignored the entire issue and the students all just quit the ISF permanantly.

I mean lets get real, who wants to train in all that silliness?

That said, Yukishiro Obata should be criticized by ALL the ISF sensei's (at least those with some balls), who should review the Boston Shinkendo events and take whatever action is deemed necessary. (that is the view of many familiar with this story).

Many feel that Yukishiro Obata should be ashamed, and its a sure bet Kaiso certainly would not have "wimped out".

The ISF has degraded into nonsense!

Boston Shinkendo Controversies - desperation showing! Tales of a screwball dojo!

 

Family Friendly is another way of saying McDojo!

Well it looks like little shafty is in desperation mode again!

First it was spamming YELP with silly reviews, now he is having his 2 or 3 remaining student post similar nonsense about his "Family Friendly" dojo!

LMAO who signs up to learn what is supposed to be billed as a traditional Samurai art in a "Family Friendly" dojo?

Family Friendly is code for WIMPY dojo full of morons!

But hey, this is just our view, if a family friendly dojo is what your after, you should sign on the dotted line over at Shafty's Boston Shinkendo Hellhole!

Boston Shinkendo holds Goofy Tameshigiri Session !

 

Well it looks like all the ridicule and laughter about Boston Shinkendo on social media has gotten to little shafty butcraccus.

It is reported that he is holding his first Tameshigiri session in almost two years.

Apparently after the embarrassment of watching his kid fail to cut a tatami mat in front of the entire class, and being laughed at by real martial artists and real dojos all over the Internet was more than shafty could take.

That article was highly amusing, but must have annoyed shafty to no end. So we hear he is rounding up his over the hill students, and one or two non geriatric students that may still actually attend that dojo, to cut a few mats.

The real question is did asshead actually go into his own pocket and buy the mats himself or is he planning to use the ones that former students WHO DITCHED HIS LAME DOJO purchased with their own money and donated for student use?

We don't know the answer to that, we are confident that the Tameshigiri session will be an exercise in standard shinkendo stupidity and indicative of how pathetic that style and that school is.

We wonder if "BRINGIT" will cut a mat? We would love to see that footage posted on the crappy Boston Shinkendo Facebook page!
